Pretty ‘n Pink Smoothie

The best thing about the pink smoothies is that not only do they look good, but they taste 10 times better than they look, which means they taste amazing. During these hot summer days, my favorite way to start the morning is with a booty smoothie.

I’ve become really pro in making smoothies, so it goes very fast. Even when I am rushing, or I am late to somewhere, I don’t forget to put the ingredients I need and do the happy blending dance. If you don’t know what that means, I will explain. While the smoothie is blending and loading, you do some happy, dance moves or much better, do some squats:) I mean, why not? It’s all about being fit, positive and shiny.

Anyways, the smoothies are a perfect way to start your day with fruits and vegetables.

As of late my favorite smoothie is the one that has the perfect color. I am so focused on getting the pretty pink color, that after doing the photoshooting of this pink lady, I forgot to drink it. Don’t get me wrong, the taste is also amazing , but that pink color… Ahh! I am just falling in love instantly!

I will also tell you one thing that you might not like, but to get a nice pink color smoothie, you must give it a try and add a fresh cut beet. The color alone will be enough to make you crave this smoothie.

For todays smoothie, I just added a little bit of fresh beet to get the color(as I mentioned before, I focused on the color). What else you will need to have in order to prepare this pretty pink smoothie is: a small handful of frozen blackberries and raspberries. Some 0% greek yogurt so it can be thicker and high in proteins. Also, I like to add oat bran, just because that makes me feel like I am really having a complete meal and not just a drink. Well, as you can see, that’s all we need for this morning smoothie.

1/2 cup of oat bran

A small handfull of frozen blackberries

A small handfull of frozen raspberries

2 tablespoons fresh peeled and cut beet

1 tablespoon peanut butter

2 tablespoons 0% fat greek yogurt

Give it a quick blend until smooth, and pour yourself a pretty pink bowl of goodness. Serving it in a bowl means that you can add delicious toppings and take your time enjoying it(after the photoshoot, of course).

Happy Blending !
