A simple, yet powerful glass of Lemon – Ginger water will help you get rid of toxins and boost your immune system! Whether you’re trying to lose some weight, or just want to feel good. One glass in the morning will do wonders to your body!
What’s so great about lemon – ginger water? We all know that certain foods such as lemons are good for alkalizing our bodies. Also lemon water helps strengthen the immune system, tones and flushes out toxins from your body. Adding ginger to it boosts the metabolism and strengthens the immune system.
This lemon ginger detox drink takes less than 5 minutes to prepare and you can enjoy it during the day. I prefer filling a 2 litre jar the night before and placing it in the fridge. Preparing it this way we let the ginger infuse the water so we can get the most out of it. If the ginger is too strong for your taste then add more water.
My trick for the lemon is to add it right before drinking, so we can get the most out of it’s health nutrients. You know that you did it right if you can taste the lemon in the water.
Lemon Ginger recipe:
–2 litres of water
– 2 lemons, sliced into half
– 4 cubes ginger root, thinly sliced
Mix all of the above ingredients in a bottle or a jar filled with water. Let it sit overnight in the fridge and enjoy it the next day!
