Dragon Fruit Smoothie !

Hey folks, I have an announcement to make. I think I just stepped up my smoothie game with this dragon beauty.

Do you see that!?

This fruit, called Dragon Fruit, has always caught my eye. My first encounter with this extraordinary thing was one year ago in Dubai(I mean where else can you find a lot of different varieties of tropical and weird looking fruits). Its beautiful and vibrant color amazed me. When I looked at it I couldn’t even imagine how it was going to taste but once I tried, I can say it tasted as wonderful as it looked! – sweet and chewy.

Have you ever tried Dragon Fruit? Concerning texture, it’s like a kiwi with chia seeds, which makes it a delicacy. The outside of the fruit is pretty pink while the inside is white, with black seeds. It’s both good looking and yummy, so of course it would make a perfect smoothie! And we all know that pretty smoothies are the best smoothies!

Dragon Fruit is grown in Southeast Asia, Mexico, Central and South America and Israel. It’s a type of cactus, don’t worry, there are no thorns on it! This fruit can be found in 3 colors: 2 have pink skin, but with either white or red flesh, while the other type is yellow with white flesh(they say that the yellow one is the sweetest out of them all). Dragon Fruit is low in calories and offers numerous nutrients, including vitamin C, phosphorus, calcium, plus fiber and antioxidants.

This Dragon Fruit Smoothie is not only amazing for your body, but it’s also very refreshing! Perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a post-workout recovery drink!

Photos Alert! There’s going to be a lot of photos in this post. Cman, you see that color?! It just brightened my day instantly, so I must share this pink beauty with you! Trust me, It was almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

All I did was blend the ingredients together before topping the mixture with extra goji berries and coconut shavings!

The base of this smoothie is made with dragon fruit, strawberries, beetroot, pure mango puree, dates and it’s thinned out with coconut milk.

Top with some gojiberries and coconut flakes and VOILA! You will instantly start dreaming of a tropical island vacation. Like I just did!

If dragons were alive on this planet, they would definitely enjoy this smoothie everyday !
