The days of pumpkin are continuing! These Pumpkin Chocolate Swirl Cups are a healthy, sweet treat. The combination of my two favorite fall flavors – chocolate and pumpkin – make these delicious cups.
Frankly, chocolate is my favorite flavor any time of the year, adding pumpkin to it, makes a dessert that is to die for. For those who disagree that pumpkin and chocolate go well together, I will tell you the secret ingredient that makes them a perfect match. Tadammm, Peanut Butter! Each bite is made of dreams – Sweet, creamy, salty and luxurious. ALL IN ONE!
Let’s talk chocolate now! I used my homemade dark chocolate for these cups, that simply melts in your mouth.
Pumpkin talk! A dreamy pumpkin filling! A mixture of homemade pumpkin puree, coconut oil, honey and peanut butter. Once your teeth dig into these yummy pumpkin chocolate cups, you will get the coziest flavor feeling.
And wait, the best part about these cups is that there is no added sugar or artificial ingredients!
First, you pour the melted chocolate on the bottom of the mold and leave them in the fridge for a few minutes to get hard. In the meantime you make the pumpkin filling which you put into cups. Pour more melted dark chocolate on top and swirl, swirl, swirl.
We need a few more minutes of cooling, and your Pumpkin Chocolate Swirl Cups are ready to consume! You’ll understand that the worst part about this sweet recipe is that they will be gone as fast as you made them! In that case you know what to do, save this recipe for one more round.
- 1 big chunk homemade dark chocolate
- ½ cup almond milk
- 3 tbsp honey
- 4 tbsp peanut butter or nut butter of choice
- 1 cup homemade pumpkin puree
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp coconut oil
Melt dark chocolate, honey and almond milk together. Taste it, and add more honey if you want it sweeter.
Pour a small amount of the chocolate mixture into the bottom of each mold or, until the bottom is thinly covered. Swirl the chocolate around to spread it onto the sides too. Place the molds in the fridge for about 10 minutes to harden.
While the chocolate hardens, stir together the melted coconut oil, peanut butter, honey and pumpkin puree.
Once the bottom layer of chocolate is hard, place about 1 tablespoon of the pumpkin mixture over the chocolate.
Pour the chocolate mixture over the pumpkin filling and swirl.
Return to the refrigerator to harden completely.
Take a bite! How amazing does that taste?? 😍
