This New Year Detox Pineapple Spinach smoothie has the perfect green color and tropical taste. You can’t feel the spinach at all, and that’s cool. All you taste is the sweet, yummy pineapple. In fact, spinach is one of the mildest veggies that you can add to your smoothie, so it’s a great option for green smoothie starters.
Some of my friends have a philosophy that every smoothie needs a banana and some yogurt to taste good. Well… My philosophy is, keep things simple. That’s how I know that I get all the nutritions from the ingredients I use for my smoothies.
To me that’s the easiest way to boost your greens intake.

- 1 cup fresh chopped pineapple
- 1 cup fresh baby spinach
- ¼-1/2 cup Almond milk
- Ice (optional)
- Honey (optional)
Place all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.
