If you’re planning a summer party, this is a treat that everyone can enjoy. It does a good job of cooling everyone off on these hot summer days.
To make this healthy watermelon slush I froze chunks of watermelon and blended them with a few frozen strawberries to add to that creamy texture. I also added a bit of lime juice that gives a spicy edge to the watermelon sweetness.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 4 cups seedless watermelon, cut into chunks then freeze them
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 tbs lime juice
Put all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth. (This may take some time, so be patient)
You can enjoy this treat right away or place in the freezeer until you are ready to enjoy! Just let it soften for about 5 minutes before digging in!
I need to warn you though – this frozen watermelon treat can be addicting and most likely become your favorite snack this summer.
